OMG, one week now since the book launch and I am still literally walking on air. It was simply an incredible day, night and weekend!

Any of you dear people who attended on the night, will know what I am talking about. It was magic. From 6:30pm onwards, people started to arrive and continued to right into the night. Over 500 people attended!

I am proud to say it was a night of celebration, lots of smiles and laughter, wonderful music from our terrific D.J Corky, I was surrounded by my family and friends, what more could a girl possibly ask for?

The book ‘My Olive Branch, My Second Chance’ has not only changed my life, but from the feedback I have received over the last few days, I believe it may be changing the lives of the readers. The amount of texts/messages from the readers telling me that I have influenced them and their lives in a positive way was just incredible.

When others find inspiration and hope in your writing, believe me it is such a wonderful feeling. It’s all about supporting one another. My son John, who has just turned 10 years old, loves to read. He was the first reader of the book, bless him. After 2 days, he came into me, he had just finished the book.

“Mam” he said. “First of all, can I give you a hug. Mam I know now how much you love us and you never lied to me about the Cancer. I got sad at pages 18 & 19 and almost cried, I read it 3 times.” he said. “It’s a great book Mam, my favourite book of my collection, I don’t ever want to complain again.”

Bless my beautiful son John, he just melted my heart, I mean could I have possibly got a better review. Mission accomplished. What more could I ask for? My children will have proof on paper forever, no matter what, they will always know how much I adore them and all my family, my world.

They are the reason I breathe and function, the reason I battle, fight. The reason I am the happiest girl on the planet. Love you all, forever grateful for all you support, Happy Christmas.
Keep the faith
